About the Journal

The Cosmic Journal of Biology is a hypothetical scientific journal that would publish research on all aspects of biology, from the molecular to the ecosystem level, in the context of the cosmos. This would include research on the origin and evolution of life, the search for extraterrestrial life, and the study of how life has adapted to different environments on Earth and beyond.

The journal would be open to submissions from researchers from all disciplines, including biology, astronomy, chemistry, physics, and engineering. It would publish both original research papers and review articles on a wide range of topics, such as:

  • The formation and evolution of habitable planets and moons
  • The chemistry and physics of life in extreme environments
  • The search for biosignatures in the universe
  • The study of the biological effects of cosmic radiation
  • The potential for life to exist in other forms than those found on Earth

The Cosmic Journal of Biology would play an important role in advancing our understanding of life in the universe. It would provide a forum for scientists from different disciplines to share their research and collaborate on new projects. It would also help to educate the public about the exciting field of cosmic biology.
