Waiver Eligibility

Waiver-Eligibility Of "COSMIC JOURNAL OF BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES"

The COSMIC Journal of Behavioral Sciences (CJBS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality research on all aspects of human behavior. The journal is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, and we encourage submissions from all authors, regardless of their affiliation or background.

We understand that some authors may face financial challenges in publishing their work. To help address these challenges, the CJBS offers a waiver program for authors who are unable to pay the publication fee. To be eligible for a waiver, authors must meet the following criteria:

  • The author must be a student or early career researcher.
  • The author must be from a low- or middle-income country.
  • The author must demonstrate that they are unable to pay the publication fee.

To apply for a waiver, authors should submit a request to the CJBS editorial team along with a copy of their manuscript and a brief statement explaining their financial situation. The editorial team will review all waiver requests and make a decision on a case-by-case basis.

The CJBS is committed to ensuring that all high-quality research is published, regardless of the author's financial situation. We encourage all authors to submit their work to the CJBS, and we will work with them to make publication possible.

In addition to the above criteria, the CJBS may also consider the following factors when granting waivers:

  • The quality of the manuscript.
  • The significance of the research.
  • The potential impact of the research.
  • The author's contributions to the field.

If you are unsure whether or not you are eligible for a waiver, please contact the CJBS editorial team. We are happy to discuss your request with you and help you determine if you are eligible.

To apply for a waiver, please submit the following to the CJBS editorial team:

  • A copy of your manuscript.
  • A brief statement explaining your financial situation.
  • Any other documentation that you believe may support your request.
