Copyright and Publishing Rights

The Cosmic Journal of Chemistry (CJC) is an open access journal, which means that all articles published in the journal are freely available to read and download by anyone. This is made possible by the authors of the articles, who typically retain copyright to their work and grant the CJC a non-exclusive license to publish it.

Under this license, the CJC has the right to reproduce, distribute, and transmit the article, as well as to make it available to the public online. However, the authors also have the right to reuse their own work in other publications, and to allow others to do the same with their permission.

The CJC also has the right to publish the articles in any format, including print, digital, and microform. However, the authors have the right to opt out of print publication if they wish.

In addition to the copyright transfer agreement, the CJC also requires authors to sign a publishing rights agreement. This agreement gives the CJC the exclusive right to publish the article in the CJC, and to sell reprints of the article. The agreement also states that the authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions to reproduce any copyrighted material in their article.

Authors of articles published in the CJC retain the following rights:

  • The right to reuse their own work in other publications, and to allow others to do the same with their permission.
  • The right to opt out of print publication if they wish.
  • The right to use their article for non-commercial purposes, such as teaching or research.

The copyright and publishing rights for the Cosmic Journal of Chemistry are designed to ensure that the journal is able to publish high-quality research articles while also respecting the rights of the authors.
