Refund Policy

The Cosmic Journal of Biology offers full refunds for all articles that are withdrawn before the peer-review process begins. Once the peer-review process has begun, refunds are only available if the article is rejected. In the case of a rejection, the author will be charged a processing fee of $100.

To request a refund, please contact the journal editor at [email protected] and include the following information:

• Your name
• The title of your article
• The date you submitted your article
• Your reason for requesting a refund

If you are requesting a refund due to a rejection, please also include the peer-reviewers' comments.

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving your request.

Please note that the Cosmic Journal of Biology does not offer refunds for articles that are published in the journal.

Additional information

The Cosmic Journal of Biology is an open-access journal, which means that all articles published in the journal are freely available to read and download. Authors are required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to cover the costs of publishing their article. The APC for the Cosmic Journal of Biology is $100.

If you are unable to pay the APC, you may be eligible for a waiver. To apply for a waiver, please contact the journal editor at [email protected] and include the following information:

• Your name
• The title of your article
• The institution you are affiliated with
• A brief explanation of why you are unable to pay the APC

Waiver requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
