Aim & Scope
Aim
The Cosmic Journal of Physics (CJP) is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles and reviews on all aspects of physics, with a focus on physics related to the cosmos, including astrophysics, cosmology, particle physics, and quantum field theory.
Scope
The scope of CJP includes:
- Astrophysics: The study of celestial objects and phenomena, such as stars, planets, galaxies, and the interstellar medium.
- Cosmology: The study of the origin, evolution, and structure of the universe.
- Particle physics: The study of the fundamental constituents of matter and their interactions.
- Quantum field theory: A theoretical framework that combines quantum mechanics and special relativity to describe all elementary particles and their interactions.
CJP is particularly interested in papers that address fundamental questions in physics, such as:
- What is the nature of dark matter and dark energy?
- How did the universe begin and evolve?
- What are the fundamental laws of physics that govern the universe?
CJP also publishes papers on the development of new instruments and techniques for astronomical and particle physics research.
Examples of topics that are within the scope of CJP include:
- The physics of stars and galaxies
- The physics of the interstellar medium
- The physics of black holes and neutron stars
- The physics of supernovae and gamma-ray bursts
- The physics of the early universe
- The physics of dark matter and dark energy
- The physics of fundamental particles and their interactions
- The development of new astronomical and particle physics instruments and techniques
Examples of topics that are outside the scope of CJP include:
- Applied physics
- Engineering physics
- Materials science
- Medical physics
- Nuclear physics
- Physics education
CJP is committed to publishing high-quality research that advances our understanding of the cosmos and the fundamental laws of physics. We encourage researchers to submit their original work to CJP for consideration.
