Waiver-Eligibility
The COSMIC JOURNAL OF PHYSICS offers a waiver of its publication fees to authors who meet certain criteria.
To be eligible for a waiver, authors must:
- Be a student or early-career researcher (within 5 years of completing their PhD)
- Be affiliated with a low-income country or institution
- Be submitting a paper that is of high quality and makes a significant contribution to the field of physics
Authors who believe they meet these criteria can submit a waiver request to the journal's editors. The editors will review each request and make a decision on a case-by-case basis.
Here are some specific examples of authors who may be eligible for a waiver:
- A PhD student at a university in a low-income country who is submitting a paper on a new method for detecting dark matter
- A postdoctoral researcher at a university in the United States who is submitting a paper on a new theory of quantum gravity
- A graduate student at a university in Europe who is submitting a paper on a new experiment to measure the speed of light
If you are unsure whether you are eligible for a waiver, you can contact the COSMIC JOURNAL OF PHYSICS editors for more information.
