Archiving Policy

The Cosmic Journal of Arts and Humanities (CJAH) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its content. To this end, the journal has implemented a comprehensive archiving policy.

All articles published in CJAH are archived in the following ways:

  • Portico: CJAH is a member of Portico, a nonprofit organization that provides a sustainable archiving service for scholarly journals. Portico archives all CJAH articles in a secure and geographically distributed environment.
  • CLOCKSS: CJAH is also a member of CLOCKSS, a cooperative archiving program that provides a distributed archiving solution for scholarly journals. CLOCKSS archives all CJAH articles in multiple locations around the world.
  • Journal website: All CJAH articles are also archived on the journal's website. The journal's website is hosted on a secure and reliable platform.

In addition to these archiving measures, CJAH also takes steps to ensure that its articles are preserved in a format that is compatible with future software and hardware. The journal uses the PDF format for all of its articles, and the journal's articles are also archived in XML format.

CJAH's archiving policy is designed to ensure that its content is preserved for future generations of scholars and researchers. The journal's articles are archived in multiple locations and in multiple formats, making them accessible to users even if one or more of the archiving systems fails.

Additional notes:

  • CJAH's archiving policy applies to all articles published in the journal, regardless of publication date.
  • CJAH does not charge any fees for accessing its archived content.
  • CJAH's archived content is available to all users, regardless of whether they are subscribers to the journal.
  • CJAH is committed to maintaining and updating its archiving policy as needed to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of its content.
