Abstract

Children's mental health is essential for their overall well-being and development. Pediatric nurses play a vital role in promoting child mental health through a variety of interventions. This integrative review examined the effectiveness of pediatric nursing interventions for promoting child mental health. A total of 15 studies were included, representing a variety of interventions, including mental health education, therapeutic play, and family support. The findings suggest that pediatric nursing interventions can be effective in promoting child mental health, both in the short-term and long-term. However, more research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of specific interventions and to identify the best practices for promoting child mental health in different settings.
