Abstract

Pediatric nurses play a vital role in promoting child health and well-being. They provide comprehensive care to children from birth through adolescence, encompassing health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and family-centered care. Pediatric nurses are experts in child development and have a deep understanding of the unique physical, emotional, and social needs of children. They use this knowledge to provide individualized care that meets the specific needs of each child and their family. Pediatric nurses work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and community health centers. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, social workers, and dietitians, to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.
