Withdrawal Policy

Unique Endeavor in Business & Social Sciences (UEBSS) upholds ethical publishing practices and transparency in managing manuscript submissions. This Withdrawal Policy outlines the conditions and procedures under which authors may request the withdrawal of their manuscripts, ensuring fairness to authors, reviewers, and the editorial team while preserving the integrity of the scholarly publishing process.

Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript prior to the commencement of the peer review process without penalty, provided that a formal written request is submitted to the editorial office by the corresponding author. Once a manuscript has entered peer review, withdrawal is generally discouraged, as significant editorial and reviewer resources have already been invested. In such cases, withdrawal requests are considered only under exceptional and well-justified circumstances.

Manuscripts that have been accepted for publication or formally published cannot ordinarily be withdrawn. Instead, if serious issues such as ethical violations, major errors, or legal concerns are identified post-acceptance or post-publication, the journal may initiate corrective actions such as issuing corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions in accordance with established publication ethics guidelines.

All withdrawal requests must be made in writing and include a clear explanation for the request. The editorial office will review each request carefully and communicate its decision in a timely manner. Until a formal confirmation of withdrawal is issued by UEBSS, the manuscript will continue to be considered under the journal’s editorial process and must not be submitted to or published in another journal.

UEBSS reserves the right to impose administrative charges or decline future submissions in cases of unethical withdrawal practices, including duplicate submissions or withdrawal without valid justification after peer review has begun. This Withdrawal Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in editorial practices or ethical standards. By submitting a manuscript to Unique Endeavor in Business & Social Sciences, authors acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of this policy, reinforcing the journal’s commitment to responsible and ethical scholarly publishing.
