Journal of Textile & Fashion Studies

The Journal of Textile & Fashion Studies (JTFS) is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in scholarly publishing. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical principles to ensure that all published research in textile science, fashion studies, apparel design, material innovation, sustainability, and related fields is trustworthy, original, and of the highest scholarly quality.

Authors submitting to JTFS are required to ensure that their work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by any other journal or publisher. All data, images, figures, and textual content must be accurately presented and properly cited. Any form of fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of research findings is considered a serious ethical violation and will lead to rejection, retraction, or permanent prohibition from future submissions.

The journal strictly requires full disclosure of all sources of funding, institutional support, and any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of the research. Authors must clearly acknowledge financial, professional, or personal relationships that may be perceived as affecting the objectivity of their work. Transparency in funding and affiliations strengthens the credibility and integrity of scholarly research.

JTFS ensures that the peer review process is conducted in a fair, unbiased, and confidential manner. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are required to evaluate manuscripts objectively, without discrimination or conflict of interest. All information related to submitted manuscripts is treated as confidential, and reviewers may not use, share, or disclose any part of the work for personal or professional benefit.

Editors of the Journal of Textile & Fashion Studies are responsible for making publication decisions based solely on the academic merit, originality, relevance, and scientific quality of the submitted work. Editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, institutional affiliations, or personal relationships. Editors also take all reasonable steps to ensure a transparent, timely, and ethically sound editorial process.

The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward unethical publishing practices such as duplicate submission, redundant publication, improper authorship, citation manipulation, and unethical research conduct. If ethical misconduct is identified before or after publication, the journal will take appropriate corrective action, including rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction of the article.
